This is especially so with the “cessationist theories” that float around and the misconceptions of apostolic and/or prophetic ministries. However, with every recovery or facet of restored truth, there is first of all that 'Ishmael facet (where man is simply trying to fulfil God's promises through self-effort and works of the flesh).
